Product description
The ripstop nylon fabric is ideal for sewing kite sails in all popular sizes. It can be cut very well with the scissors or with the cutter. The ripstop weave prevents fast fraying or tearing. The fabric can also be cut with a soldering iron or with a hot cutter. The cut edge is sealed. The hot cutting is worthwhile in kites and windspinners which are intended for a long-term use. Applications do not have to be cut hot, as the edges are usually not directly exposed to the wind. Flatter edges on the other hand should either be cut hot or seamed. The fabric is also very suitable for windsocks and 3-D kites / windspinners.
